Components, Definitions and Strategy

Learn what is required to formulate a rewards program that has the power to attract, motivate and retain—total rewards. This basic-level course is designed to be the first course in the Global Remuneration Professional (GRP®) certification course sequence. Participants are introduced to the total rewards model and each of its components. Emphasis is given to the five elements of total rewards: compensation, benefits, work-life, performance and recognition, and development and career opportunities.

WorldatWork Society of Certificed Professionals, an affiliate of WorldatWork, administers the exams required for attaining the prestigious Certified Compensation Professional® (CCP®), Global Remuneration Professional® (GRP), Advanced Compensation Professional (ACCP)™, Master Certified Compensation Professional (MCCP)™, Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP)®, Certified Sales Compensaiton Professional (CSCP)®, Certified Benefits Professional® (CBP) and Work-Life Certified Professional® (WLCP) designations. The Society is a separate not-for-profit legal entitity with its own Board of Directors appointed by the Worldatwork Board of Directors and was formed to provide a focus on certification. Certification exams are administered and designations are issued by the Society; all educational courses/self study are administered by WorldatWork.

Please note: If you are purchasing an exam option, you must schedule and complete the computer-based exam within 120 days from the first day of a live instructor-led class or from date of purchase for all self-paced learning packages. Your eligibility expires after 120 days; however, 30-day exam extensions are available for a $165 USD fee when purchased before the original access expires. It is recommended that you complete your exam in a timely manner as exams may be updated without notification. Instructions for scheduling your computer-based exam will be provided at purchase. WorldatWork classroom locations offer e-course materials technology to participants. Your certification course materials (and BAII calculator, if applicable) will be available for pick up on site the day of the course. For two-day courses, you may access the e-course materials PDF two weeks prior to the course start date or upon registration if you register within two weeks of the course.

E-learning course purchasers now have the option of print or e-course materials. Those who choose the e-course materials option will receive the materials electronically for the length of your e-learning program. Those who choose the print version of the course materials will receive it  5-7 days after date of purchase. 30-day extensions of e-learning access are available for a fee if purchased before original access expires.

Access to the e-learning product lasts for the specified amount of time (30, 60 or 120 days).  Your e-learning product begins the day you purchase it, not the day you start it. Be sure to download any class materials prior to product expiration.

Blended Learning e-course materials can be found within the product and will be available for the length of the course.
